General
Intuitive User Interface
If you are familiar with the Windows interface and can use Office programs, you will quickly find your way around in our 3D Hausplaner software. Our interface and the commands are very well structured and there are always the same processes for different components.
Unlimited Projects
You can save your projects in any location, it doesn’t matter how many projects you draw, they have an unlimited number and the program always stays at the same speed.
Automatic Layer Mapping
As a professional CAD, the 3D Hausplaner has a layer management. In addition to creating new layers, there is an automatic mapping. Thus, the user does not have to waste any thought about wheter the wall or window is drawn on the right layer.
Unrestricted input of Foor Plans with millimeter precision
The floor plans can be created completely freely with the help of our construction tools. There is no raster restriction or size restriction. From a room to a residential complex, anything is possible. As usual with a professional CAD, the input and output is accurate to the millimeter.
3D Floor Management
To enter the 3rd dimension (height of the walls, ceilings, floors) the user only needs to care once – in our floor management, the floor height entry is clear and very simple. The best thing is: if the heights of the storey change, then the heights of all the components affected change automatically.
Unlimited 3D Components (can be changed or created by yourself)
A comprehensive component catalog is available. But if that’s not enough, just define your components yourself and save them in your own catalogs. To make everything very easy.
Editing of Project Data
Project data can be entered in detail, such as client, address, planner, etc.
Import & Export
Import/Export DWG and DXF
Data exchange with other CAD systems takes place via standardized interfaces. The 3D Hausplaner Master has these import and export interfaces, which make it easier for you to communicate with other planners.
NEW! Measure-accurate Import of old Floor Plans
ScanWizzard, the tool for reading old floor plans, which are available as an image file. With this tool, they can subsequently scale floor plans according to the dimensions and read them as a basis for their further planning. Of course, you can also use survey maps or other templates for your project. Optionally, the imagecan be rotated immediately and capture points can be activated.
Import and Export Images
In our master version, it is possible to import image files; these can be stored in the planning or simply inserted on the plan. The plan itself or the 3D visualization can also be exported as an image in common image file formats.
Import of 3D Objects
In our professional version there is the possibility to import 3D objects. The data formats can be 3DS, ACO or O2C.
NEW! Sketchup-Import
Direct import of sketchup objects as .skp file opens up wide possibilities for our users. The 3D models from the modeling program and also the countless freely availableobjects in the net, are easily read and used in your own planning and can be permanently stored in the catalog.
NEW! Export 3D Printer
Your complete house model can be transferred from the 3D Hausplaner Master to a 3D printer. This variant is becoming more and more popular, so that we like to comply with this customer request. The output is as .stl file and can be pre-checked in a 3D player.
Export as X3D or VRML
An export of the planning in the above-mentioned 3D formats is possible, so the project can be read in and further processed in other programs that use these interfaces.
3D Components
Automatic Floors and Ceilings
As soon as you design a room, the 3D Hausplaner software will generate the corresponding floor and ceiling for you. The thicknesses for these components must be defined in the storey settings. If the height changes, the components are automatically adjusted.
Automatic Rooms
If the walls enclose a room, the room is immediately recognized and the m2 for the room area are available as information. As soon as a wall is moved, the rooms and also the m2 are updated.
Variable Windows and Doors
The 3D Hausplaner offers a very large cataloge of windows and doors. Each component can be changed and saved again permanently. This allows the user to create his own components very well.
Automatic Staircases
There is almost nothing that cannot be designed by the staircase tool. All stair shapes can be designed and the best of it is, that the stairs are calculated automatically, so that the widths and the height of the stairs always get reasonable values. Of course, the values can still be changed and adjusted.
Automatic Roofs
A 3D roof at the push of a button? This is no problem with our 3D Hausplaner. The roof trimmings are fully automatic and the roof can be changed at any time. Whether it´s a hipped roof, gable roof or any other complicated roof shapes, everything is possible. And of course the walls will intersect under the roof in the correct way.
NEW! Dormer
The component Dormer has been completely reworked. With just a few clicks, you can insert any dormer into your roof. Like the main roof itself, these vaults are processed afterwards. Change or move the dormer quickly and measure accurately. Especially in the first design phase, quick changes are desired and very useful.
2D Elements in Construction Mode
For example, if a 3D floor plan is to be supplemented as a drawing, 2D drawing elements such as lines, polygons and circles are required. These 2D elements are available in the construction and in the elevation views and cross sections.
NEW! 2D Polygon
A new 2D tool consisting of lines and arcs is available for all users who do not only want to create a 3D model, but also value extensive 2D editing options. In addition to the complex input option, lines can be covered to circles or vice versa. The input of any recesses is also possible, as well as the splitting of the Polygon into individual segments.
Free Railings
The component “Railing” is available in the Hausplaner Master version. This allows any railing variants to be created in the construction. These are then also visible in 3D as object.
Platforms, Slabs, Panels
The Platform tool is a general component with which you can model/ design anything in 3D that does not correspond to the usual templatesin the other components. As an example, you can create furniture by yourself with panels or use it outdoors in your surrounding area e.g. to design a terrace, balcony, etc.
Wooden Construction
For the walls and roof a wooden construction is available. The settings and parameters can be edited and a meaningful wooden construction is calculated automatically. Visible in 2D and 3D as usual.
Planning aids
NEW! Easy-Edit
With the Easy-Edit tool, you can click on your room dimensions and change them by simply entering the new dimensions. Without having to move a wall by commands – simply and at the push of a button! Determine how the room should change: Center, to the left and to the right. All changes are immediately incorporated into the 3D model and visible – the revolution in 3D home designing!
Interactive Dimensions
Our Interactive Dimensions are unique – simply click on a component such as a window or door in the construction or in 3D and all important dimensions will appear. Just move the mouse over it and when the pen is displayed click on it and change it.
Planning aids such as Coordinate Trackers, Auxiliary Lines, Grids, etc.
3D Hausplaner provides excellent tools to help you to draw walls quickly and efficiently. With the coordinate tracker you can determine the direction of the wall with the mouse and simply enter the length via the keyboard. Of course, guidelines can also be set at a distance.
Editing Functions
A wall or a window should be moved later? Walls are shortened or lengthened? Or components and objects are to be copied. Everything can be done with our extensive editing functions.
Different Representations in the Floor Plan
In our Master version you can hide fillings, hatchings and also line thicknesses, this has the advantage of beeing able to see and edit the planning very precisely and find existing catch points well.
Hide Hatches, Fills and Line hicknesses
Often it is important that you only have the essentials visible when planning a CAD project in order to be able to work well and in a structured way. This is why the 3D Hausplaner Master has the option to blend away different visibilities.
Measure 3D Surfaces
Do you need information on purchasing tiles, paints or the like? With the 3D surfaces you can immediately get the square meters accurate to the centimeter.
Texts and dimensions
Dimensions
Of course measurement elements are available in the design view. These can be individually designed and stored completely individually by the optics (text height and dimensional lines).
Extended Dimensioning Functions
In addition to the expansion of the dimensioning types (e.g. route dimensioning), it is possible to edit the dimensioning and also to save it as a separate standard.
Extension of the dimensions / level marks
The dimensions are extended by multiple dimensions. In addition, you can display the contour lines and set elevation marks in sections and views.
Texts
Of course, texts are available as individual texts and text blocks in the planning.
Area Arrangement
This tool is for everyone who would like to have their space at a glance. The 3D Hausplaner Master version has an area arrangement tool for floor areas in construction mode. The area usage type can be set and every change is automatically updated in the area arrangement.
Catalogs of Materials and Textures
Extensive Material (Texture) Catalog
Change surfaces inside and outside? Simply drag and drop the desired surface from the Material (Texture) catalog into the plan. The software automatically recognizes entire rooms or the external geometry of the house.
Large Catalog of Objects
Would you like to renovate or furnish your apartment or house? Or maybe the garden or the surrounding area needs to be designed? Use our extensive catalog of objects from kitchens, living rooms or bathrooms to watering cans for the garden – there are a lot of objects available.
2D Symbols
Numerous 2D symbols are available in the design mode and in the 2D views. Wether it is to set up a floor plan, to create plankhead legends or simply as a fundus, where you can also store your own symbols for further use as groups. 2D symbols make a floor and elevation plan perfect.
3D Mode / Visualization
Visualization
Viewing the house inside or outside in 3D works wonderfully in our 3D representation. For a great visualization our fast shadow calculation in 3D mode helps.
Real-time Shadow
Once the shadows are calculated, you can easily continue editing the project and the shadows remain on the model. This eliminates annoying calculation times and the model always retains the shadow calculation even when switching to construction mode.
Light Sources
In addition to the lighting settings for sunlight, additional light sources can be used. So light source in the outdoor area and of course also for the interior, each object can be assigned a light source.
Background Brush
If you insert an image as a background, you can use this special brush to make the background photo be stuck on the ground. It´s like video projecting the background onto the surfaces you click on. So the 3D plan is getting more realistic if you want to see how your design will fit into a plot of land.
3D Bitmaps
Everyone wants a visualization that shows a real-life impression. For this we have a very ingenious addition – our 3D Bitmaps. These are simply cut out photographs of plants, trees, flowers, people, animals, etc. So if you move or walk around in 3D you will see for example a photo of a person that will continue to show as it was taken.
3D Cross Section View
Represent the house like a doll’s room? Complete with furnishings, wallpaper, etc. That works wonderfully with our 3D cross section function. Section through your 3D model as you like and enjoy different views of your new home.
Create your own Videos
You would like to walk around your house? Or fly around the planning? This is possible with our great video function. Watch it yourself or save the videos in a video format and share your vision with other people.
Terrain Modeling
3D Terrain
A comprehensive terrain tool is available in the 3D Hausplaner Master. On the one hand, plots can be created and on the other hand plot various areas can be defined, which can have different surfaces.
Terrain Shapes
Furthermore, there are various terrain shapes such as ramps, hills, etc. and it is possible to model the terrain by entering high points or elevations. An interesting aspect is the comparison of the original terrain and the projected terrain as a 3D model.
Sections and Elevation Views
Create a Cross Section
In the Master version, you can draw as many lines as you want and cross sections get automatically calculated. These sections are stored in the 2D views mode and can of course still be edited there. As a 3D section, they always retain the connection to the model and can be updated at any time.
Automatic Elevation Views
In the 2D views mode, all views of the building can be calculated at the push of a button. Different display modes (only lines or colored) are possible. After setting the shadows from the 3D model are taken over. Further processing of these views is possible.
3D Views
Every 3D viewing angle can be displayed as a 3D view. These views can also be presented in different ways and of course be post-processed and printed.
View Manager
Is everything okay? With our View Manager, yes! If you want to show the house from all possible angles, there are also many different views and cross sections. These can be clearly displayed and organised in our View Manager.
Output/ Print
Print the Plan/ Design at any time possible
Floor plans and 3D views can easily be printed at any time. Of course, the floor plan remains true to the scale. The paper format is also selectable.
Print as PDF
In addition to the general print functions, the Plan or the 3D view can be printed as a PDF directly from the 3D Hausplaner Master.
