Overview of our online training videos

Project and floor:
If you restart your construction project, you get your project correctly. With our 3D model, it is important to enter the floor heights and thus the 3D information – everything is explained in this video.

Set and Save your wall models:
The 3D Hausplaner has a large catalogue of construction components. To facilitate designing your projects, store your wall types. The created wall types are available in all the projects you will create.

Read in DXF and DWG:
The data exchange with other CAD systems takes place via standardized interfaces. The 3D Hausplaner Master has these import interfaces. How to read the external files correctly is described in this video.

Output DXF and DWG:
All projects can be output from the software the 3D Hausplaner Master as DXF or DWG project. Some information is necessary to design the output correctly. Please take your time to watch the video, your planning partner will thank you.

Drawing walls:
An accurate floor plan stands or falls with the correct drawing of the exterior and interior walls. We value accuracy! The automatic external measurement is helpful for the input. Please see how external and interior walls can be entered easily and quickly.

Drawing windows and doors:
A floor plan needs windows and doors, not just any and any, but just the windows and doors that fit in the 3D view and have the right dimensions and the parapet height. An input with a distance indication is a matter of course.

Drawing simple stairs:
Often house projects have several floors. A staircase is therefore required for planning. This staircase is immediately drawn as a 3D component. The input steps are not difficult, but you need to know them. The stairscases adjusts to the floor heights automatically.

Dimensions:
If the floor plan is drawn with distance inputs, then it can be measured professionally. Our software offers different tools for this. You can see how good dimensioning is made in this video.

Rooms, Surfaces, exterior Dimensioning:
Our home designing software has automatic room recognition. As soon as a room is enclosed by walls, the m² is indicated. How rooms are processed, how an area determination is set up and how flexible the automatic dimensioning can be is the subject of the video.

2D Furniture:
Even if the floor plan is created in such a way that it can be displayed in 3D, it is ultimately output as a 2D plan. In order to be able to represent the proportions well, it is necessary to have costomized furnishings. These can be set very easily as “2D” symbols for the plan.

3D Spiral Staircase:
In this video we explain to our users how 3D spiral staircases are placed in the floor plan. The size of the stairs can be altered afterwards and the position and direction of the stairs can be changed. Our 3D spiral staircase is therefore variable and is of course shown in 2D floor plan and in 3D, as well as in cross sections and elevation views.

Select, insert and change Garage Doors:
Often the question arises whether garage doors are also available as 3D components in our 3D Hausplaner. Of course and in many different variants! These garage doors can be found under the umbrella term doors and in this short video we describe the selection, installation and modification options.

Create new Floors:
The 3D Hausplaner is unlimited in the number of floors per project. How to create a new floor and which components from other floors can be used or copied afterwards is the content of the video.

Displaced Storeys:
Split level – displaced floors are easy and constructive to create correctly in our 3D Hausplaner. Watch this video to see how we can draw a house with staggered storeys. At the same time many details are explained for a clean 3D model, e.g. how to insert dots into a ceiling, move ceilings or how to edit a wall cut afterwards.

Simple Roofs:
A very comprehensive module is the roof module of the 3D Hausplaner. To create a roof with a few clicks in 3D and with all roof intersections is shown here by the example of a simple roof shape. Of course, the walls recognize the 3D roof and cut automatically.

Complex Roofs:
A house project can also have complex roofs where some roofs have to be blended together. For example, if a new part is to be built on an existing house, or a roof with many transverse gables. Watch the video how complex roofs are created with our software.

Flat Roof Dormer with eaves interruption:
Dormers are always an important component in the roofing sector. They are design elements and create space. They can be depicted as a dormer or with an interruption of eaves. In our 3D Hausplaner with automatic roof and wall trimming, a dormer can be designed and adapted completely individually. Watch this video, you get a detailed explanation how to create the dormer with an eaves interruption.

Surfaces 3D:
A meaningful and fast visualization of our planning is possible with good functions of the CAD software. The surfaces, also called textures and materials, can be dragged onto the surfaces in our 3D Hausplaner. Adjustments to the textures are also made easy.

3D Furnishings:
For the imagination of people for 3D planning, a 3D set up helps a lot. This video explains how furniture, sanitary items, kitchens or the like are placed in the room. All proportions of the objects match the floor plan and a good impression of the room size and the feeling of space is achieved.

Video Round Flight:
Just create a quick video for my house? With our round flight tool in the video bar, this is possible in a few minutes. Automatically “flown” arround the house and this animation can be saved as a video. An animation sometimes says more than individual images and helps you make your own decision or purchase decision for your customer. The created video file is available externally for sharing or other applications.

Navigation in 3D Mode
In all of our Hausplaner Versions (Home, Pro and Master) the navigation in 3D mode is identical. In this video I will show you how the navigation in our home designing software works and what different options are available. www.diehausplaner.com

Light and Sun settings
Shadow calculations on the model are possible in all three Hausplaner Versions. For the adjustment and change of the shadow cast, correct light and sun settings are necessary. This video shows the most important settings and describes them briefly. Make sure to use the memory functions to access different solar settings in all projects.

Supports, Balconies, Railings:
For a house as a 3D model often additional 3D components are necessary so that the house can be fully represented in 3D and all information is available for cross sections and elevation views. Here we deal with 3D elements, which may be needed additionally.

Sloping Railings, sloping Fences
This video is about sloping railings, e.g. how to create an outside entrance to a balcony and enclose everything with a railing. It is explained how elevation points are set at the railing and how the railing is supplemented with an additional point. At the same time, our railing module can also be used for fences on the permises. A powerful tool in our 3D Hausplaner Master.

Create Chimney:
A small special video describing how to create your own chimney in 3D and 2D and save it for other projects.

Create and edit automatic views:
This very detailed video explains the automatic views in the 3D Hausplaner. You have entered the house completely in 3D and can create and edit views. This video describes how to create an automatic view and describes post-processing and additions, as well as different display variants and settings.

Automatic Cross Section creation:
The automatic cross section creation is available to our 3D Hausplaner Master. When you have finished creating the house as a 3D model, our users can automatically calculate cross sections in your project. These cross sections be individually designed optically and always retain the connection to the 3D model. Every change to the model is immediately incorporated into the cut!

Re-Edit Cross Sections:
The automatic cuts in our version of the 3D Hausplaner Master can of course still be edited. This video explains how the editing and post-processing options are, how to measure the cut and how to detach the section directly from the 3D model. Also a printout of the sections with a plan head is shown.

Terrain and Areas:
The terrain mode in the 3D Hausplaner Master is a very good tool to enter a plot of land. Areas can be defined on this property, which can receive different materials. Thus a 3D property with the exterior design is created and displayed very quickly for the 3D house.

Elevation input:
Our terrain mode in the 3D Hausplaner is especially suitable for hillside plots or complicated terrain modeling. The terrain model is created in 3D by simply entering elevations and elevation points. A distinction can be made between the modelling the original terrain and the finished (projected) terrain.

Move Walls:
After the first draft, changes are made through a project discussion. These changes must be incorporated into the plans. For a quick completion of the new plans, the 3D Hausplaner has simple and complex modification functions. This video explains how walls and entire areas can be moved.

Change Windows and Doors:
When changing the floor plan, components such as windows and doors are often changed, moved or even replaced. These changes are easy, uncomplicated and accurate to the millimeter in our 3D Hausplaner. Various options are explained in detail in the video.

Simple Plan output:
Every image can be printed from our 3D main planner. The best way to do this is explained in this video. To make it work well, the printable area is defined, the scale and the sheet format – plan frame and front field can be inserted. The output can be done directly on the printer or as a PDF.

Plan Composition:
In particular, some users repeatedly want to be able to place and output several plan components on a plan. With a few tricks and the knowlege of how to do it, the 3D Hausplaner Master can also fulfill this wish. Just watch the video for the plan compilation and then follow it up in your own project.

Create and save your own Front Field:
The output of a plan also includes a text field with all the important information. This information is project-related and is used repeatedly on some plans in the front field. We show you the possibilities in the 3D Hausplaner, how to create and save your own front field and how to use automatic texts.

The 3D Hausplaner – The Real Estate software:
With this video we address all people, companies, developers and real estate agents who want to present their projects in good 2D representations and as 3D visualizations. We show you the working method and the results directly and live in our software. Just take your time and take a look. www.diehausplaner.com

Make 3D out of 2D – the house model for the 3D Hausplaner
Often technically good 2D plans are still not easy to ‘readable’ and interpret for the builders – and this is where we and our home designing software, the 3D Hausplaner and our planning services come into play. Creating a 3D house from a 2D plan – what possibilities are there?

The 3D house planner – trim function
In our software, intersections can be easily created as corner connections or as T-connections. Whether we want to connect walls, lines, beams or the like with each other, everything is easy with just one function. You can see this trim function in this video.

Extend walls, break open, connect
Lengthening and shortening walls, breaking open or reuniting them, these are important functions in the area of floor plan creation. Take a look at this video, it explains in detail how the functions for the walls are used in our software.

Change wall thickness in the 3D house planner
We have dimensionally accurate change options in our 3D house planner versions (Home, Pro and Master). One topic that is very important would be changing the wall thickness (especially the outer walls) with the specific reference to which edge should remain stable and which dimension does not change. Take a look at the video to see how it works and continue working very carefully with our software.

Cover rooms with fillings and / or hatching
In all 3D house planner versions (Home, Pro, and Master) there are a wide variety of options for displaying a floor plan. In this video we explain to you how you can fill rooms with fillings and / or hatching. See the diverse setting options, nothing to be desired.

Automatic dimensions
Automatic dimensioning is available in all 3D house planner versions (Home, Pro and Master). Measure the entire floor plan at the push of a button! In the event of subsequent changes to the floor plan, these dimensions will be updated immediately. Set all parameters of the dimensioning tailored to you or simply dissolve the external dimensioning for further processing.

Round walls
The construction of round walls is very easy in all 3 house planner versions. With a few clicks, you can round corners or create completely round rooms. Look in the video how it works.

Different floor plan representations
Present your design in different representations. Whether technical, colorful or as a sketch – everything can be changed at the push of a button. You can easily switch between the draft and a more detailed setting or switch drawing elements on or off using the layer technique.

Save views as PDF
You also want to print out the results! A modern and common variant is printing in PDF format. But even there, there are some settings to be made and the relationships to be observed. The smaller the scale, the more fits on a small sheet of paper. Position the print area appropriately and adjust the sheet size accordingly – all of this is explained in this small video.

Draw roof windows
The construction of individual roof windows is possible in all three house planner versions. Setting it is very easy: with two clicks you have set the roof window and the window is immediately visible in 3D and, of course, correctly displayed in 2D for the plan. Take a look at the little video and get started right away!

Save your own symbols and objects
House planning can be very individual. Symbols, your own objects or object groups can be used permanently, e.g. in other projects. To make this possible, simply create one or more folders of your own and put these things there with a name. This video explains how this works quickly and easily.

Offset monopitch roof – wall closure
Even somewhat complicated constructions can be easily solved in our 3D house planner. In this example you can see an offset monopitch roof, which shows how the correct wall connections are made. Flexibility pays off and a good solution is possible. This video was created at the request of the customer, which resulted from a specific project. Tell us your problems and wishes and we will work out the solution for you.

Copy elements to another floor
3D and 2D elements can be copied easily to other storeys. In addition to the common Windows commands CTRL C and CTRL V, there are also copy functions when creating a new floor. In this way, all elements can be copied from one floor to the other in such a way that they are automatically placed in exactly the same place. An important function when working on a project.
